Right-Hand-Girl.

Tuesday Boss asked to talk. I knew something was going on the moment he closed the door (not like there's anything ambiguous!) After some discussion on work, he went straight to the point and asked what do I see in future. Ha. I laughed and thot, "Finally.."

The chat was short and relaxed. Less than 20mins or so, in which, the Right-Hand-Girl has gotten what she needs - recognition. Nothing beats having an understanding boss at work I guess. He told me, "During SLV, I saw the way u worked and I didn't have to worry." Following this compliment was a nod and smile. Once again, it has been proven, what I believe is right. And at the end of it, the Boss knocked on my head in exchanged with a promise I gave him.

No doubt what he said bout the new colleague carries a little truth in it. But im definitely not as disturbed as he thot. As a matter of fact, we worked pretty well. He had also further emphasized that there is definitely no conflict of interest between us. Probably too early to determine. Whatever it is, I saw a path laid and im working towards it. Again, im trying to change my "Ms-NO-No" character. Funnily Boss actually noticed this "trait" of mine.

Back home, isn't as happy as work. Things are certainly not going my way and one thing in particular, I still do not know how to accept it fully. Maybe not so much bout the nature of it but more of his perspective on it. He has changed a lot, despite for the better, I still need time to adapt to these changes.

For that few nights of endless talks, I was touched by his words. Extremely, for the first time in 3 years.. The reason behind his drive and motivation to carry on and to excel, US and our future in another 3 years. Lovely.
