im feeling nauseous since yesterday..

KEONG - a name that i felt i've been curse with. How could such coincidence happen all the time? Regardless of what i've been dealing with recently, servicemen's ORD, PP2 or their gratuity.. Be it is Keong or Kiong or Khiong. It all happened to be the super troublesome cases which i have to explain for super long! To the extend i thot i was a story teller. Argh. Could u imagine i made a small mistake in the letters for four servicemen namely, Lee Kiang Khiong, Tan Chye Keong, Chin Yeow Keong and Keong Pei Sze! wtf. u call this coincidence but i think otherwise.

i bet u must be playing a fool with me again.. However, if u call this karma, im grateful that u've been kind.

My great grandmother passed away last Tuesday at the age of 87. Seriously i dont feel a thing cos we were never close. Nevertheless, the whole family went and sent her off on her last journey..

i overslept and decided to cab to work.. Was all dressed up and went downstairs to hail a cab but after like ten minutes (maybe five?), and the devil in me decided that i should just call back and take urgent leave. haha! i felt so idiot. Went home, dressed down, decided to get back to sleep, but i ended up in my bro's office helping him do some work. Headed to the funeral after that as there was some ceremonial going on. Met up with the Charlie + Angels for a crabby supper!

Sent Birdy back to camp in the morning as there was a turnout and he was supposed to reach in 45mins time! Madness. Went home for breakfast and headed to the funeral again, its the last day. Finally saw Constance Song then. Oh ya, afterall she's my aunt. My mum's cousin to be exact. haha. After the cremation, everything ended and we left for home. i was darn tired and after showering i took a short nap until Birdy called at bout 7.30pm. Walked over to his place and in less than ten minutes, i was totally knocked out already. i dont even have the energy to change out of my clothes and he has to pull me out of the bed. Hahaha. Then at bout 9+, he woke me up to watch the variety show by Jacky Wu. i guess i was really too worn out that i didnt even say NO, and i just allowed him to drag me to the living room and ended up sleeping in front of the TV! hahaha. After like 15mins? i went back to his room and slept all the way till the next afternoon! Shiok! Basically i was sleeping from 8pm - 12pm, waking up for not more than 3 times for bout 5mins each. hahaha! Well, that's how i've wasted part of my weekend.

Watched Invisible Target at AMK Cathay. The show is great thou its more or less the typical kind of "Police & Thief" show.. haha. In addition, hunks like Shawn Yue was the male lead. It would definitely have gain another plus point if Edison is in the scene too instead of Jaycee Chan who is nothing like his father. haha. Anyway, it seems like the movie fever is back here. Quite a few shows actually ignite an interest in me, i.e. Knocked Up (Director of The 40-Year Old Virgin), Who Slept With Her (a Korean comedy), Secret (just watching for the sake of seeing Jay's production), Alone (a Thai Horror) and perhaps Gone Shopping (local production)? hahaha. Ya, i wish the weekend doesnt have to end!

there goes my thots..

Met two dumbass on the train today. When the train reached Raffles Place, i stood up, obviously with the intention to alight. This two dumbass were actually standing right in front of me and asking each other to sit. wtf. Cant u just give way to the alighting passenger before u decide who to take the seat?? Pissed. Ya, from the look at it, they are two Chi-na ladies. Oh, dont be mistaken, im not at all against ROC. It just happened that they have the typical China look. No offence, pls.

Oh well, just when i thot i will be free from all these MRT problems for at least three weeks, and i was all prepared to spend an additional of 200 bucks on transport, for the sake of all the convenience i could get, and programs have all been lined up nicely, bro sent a msg which goes like this.. "sorry girl.. no car for u liao.. haha.. so sad.." wtf? there goes my Lancer. But well, he said i can have his Legacy for the first week of September. Till now, i dont have the guts to try out that car. Haha. Its a lil too big for me, in terms of both the exterior and interior. The bonnet is longer than all the others i've tried. The engine drinks water instead of petrol. BUT! im still tempted to try out the four-wheel drive! i swear i will overcome the fear one day! haha. And in anyway, im so used to his "empty promises" already. BOO!

Just when i thot "Charlie and his Angels" will be meeting up tml, changes have been made due to our dear "Charlie" who couldnt make it on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Have to make do with Friday then. And just when i thot everything has been finalised, i realised, wasnt i supposed to meet up with Ahmin and Baby on Friday??!! OhshiT. Well, i know Ahmin wouldnt blame me cos i can still meet her on Wednesday to pass her the book, rite min? As for Baby, i doubt she even bother cos i seriously dont think she gives a damn bout me. Except during times when im needed, right Baby? Plus she'll be so busy this whole week for something on Saturday which she refused to tell me yet.

And speaking of Saturday, just when i thot i can finally go sun-tanning with Birdy as the sun has been so Sentosable, he told me that this weekend there's gonna be an activation! Meaning he has to reach camp within 45 minutes upon receiving the call! Damn. The pathetic Lance Coporals and Coporals were supposed to be clearing their leave this weekend and yet they still have to entertain such rubbish! What's wrong with the SAF? Nothing but all of an ACT!

my plans after ord..

im alone at Birdy's house with his bro slping, waiting for him to return with my brunch. Boring. He went for his cross-country at MacRitchie in the morning! Just because he is a born runner, he is being selected for all the running events in his company. Duh. Even gotta represent his division to take part in the 21km marathon in August..

Anyway, Tiger airways are having a 3days promo to Bangkok for only $120~! God damn cheap. Could save me 70 bucks compared to my previous trip! But it seems a bit crazy to book the tix for next March, thus i've dropped the idea. I was so tempted to book the tix mann! And i actually created some chaos in the office when i saw the advertisement on Straits Time. haha! Anyway, they are thinking of organising a chalet for our section. Well, hope it comes true before my ORD. =)

Speaking of my ORD, for friends who might be concerned of my plans after 22 Oct.. Here is to ur benefits..
My bro is starting up another of his mini business, venturing into FOOD~~! Yeah, its gonna be a mini coffeeshop somewhere at a wuloo void deck of a flat in Sembawang. This mini coffeeshop, with only a zi-cha store (and drink store of cos~!) solely belongs to his friend who will be leaving for Aussie for a few years, and thus decided to let my bro continue with the business. Hmmm.. i will be there helping out, together with my sis-in-law, and at the same time oversee the whole place and its operations. Probably till next April when my bro finishes his bond with the RSAF.

Well, that's all for now. To my surprise, Birdy is back with all that i've in mind!! My all time favourite bubble tea and cup corn from the pasar malam~! Ciaoz!

This has to be the nicest chocolate i've tasted so far.. its so yummylicious~!! Thanks to Haojie and Ahmin for recommending that to us in Bangkok! After craving for it for so long, we finally make our way to Taka to get it! Within three days, im left with only the box! haha. Of cos i didnt finish them all alone thou i would really love to! Its way too sinful. haha! George! Ought to check it out! The texture of the chocolate is so smooth and it really melt in ur mouth! Heavenly.

Have been spending quite alot recently as Retail Therapy is always the best remedy to all Monday blues or Wednesday greens~! haha. But im still searching for someone who can cure my after-therapy-ache! haha. i've spent more than a hundred bucks on clothings recently.. Wanted to get more office wears especially pants but i ended up with only one blouse for work! Gosh.. None of the pants can fit me well and i seriously think it's all gotta do with my height! Anyway, i sweared am not gonna spend anymore till the next pay-day but who knows i'd spent even more than expected already! hahaha. Money is really not easy to earn mann!

Life has been quite program-ful lately be it at work or back home. With all the busy schedules make time past really fast especially when im already counting down to my ORD! haha. Somehow i dont know if its a good or bad thing. Anyway, was involved in the Officers' Promotion Ceremony and SAF Day performing duty as an usher and spectators, which actually earn me 1.5 days OFF! (woot~! im sounding so much like a NSF here!) LoL.

Back at home its the usual meetups and birthday celebrations. All these leads to good food from our frequent Thai restaurant, Ding Tai Feng, Subway, Pizza Hut, Billy Bombers, buffets.. Not forgetting the night when the eight of us had eight crabs for supper~! OmG! its superbly delicious!! Definitely more to come..

Yah.. Just last week i went jogging alone after work! haha. i brought Jayen and Zanver along with the help of Brenda looking after them at the playgrounds. haha. Think they did enjoy themselves thou Jayen had a lil fall. But this lil boy is currently at a stage whereby he loves praises and enjoys being look upon as a BIG boy already~! Thus he acted BRAVELY and did not shed a single tear! Not even when i bathed for him after that! hahaha! He is just so cute! (minus the fact he just broke my watch this morning..)





Did quite alot over the weekends too. Celebrated Haojie's birthday at Kbox Chinatown on Friday which wasnt quite good as everyone was kinda shagged except myself. haha! Cos our department had a Promo Lunch at Sakura @ TPY in the noon and i took half day leave in the morning. Visited Birdy's grandpa at SGH on Saturday.. And now i see the point that whenever a person is sick, he is the most vulnerable. Cos instead of his dominant self, i see him smile happily and both times were when he was being admitted to the hospital! Yeah, perhaps he felt solaced that his grandson was there to visit him.. Attended Christine's boy's 1st birthday party on Sunday and went to Birdy's aunt's place to celebrate his maternal grandma's birthday.. Bought her a box of birdnest which came with another box free~! haha.

After the whole thing, went shopping with his parents and some relatives for his mum's present at AMK Hub! OMFG!! His parents and grandparents were all born in the month of June and July!! That's partly the reason for me being so broke now!! Sobz. Anyway, i always felt that, as long as the people i care for is happy, i'll be happy too. So after hours, his mum saw this white bag but was reluctant to buy as it was the last piece plus the father was nagging behind saying its expensive to buy things in this kind of shopping centers. It was 9+pm but the mother decided to walk a lil more despite the father was so shagged already. haha. Perhaps all women are like that.. *shrugs* Thus, i got Birdy to go back to the shop and buy the bag secretly, telling them that he went to the Gents. haha. Not long after, the mother spotted another bag and was was deciding which color to get, when Birdy was already back with the white bag in his hand.. So we quickly made payment at the cashier for the second bag and left the shop. haha. Then we presented her with both the bags and she was soooo surprised! hahaha! And she claimed that she really has a HAPPY Birthday~!

Chong Pang Nasi Lemak

What is that? u might be wondering.. haha. its Chong Pang Nasi Lemak!

So what? u might be thinking.. haha. Well, it means a great deal to me, of cos~!

Last friday, i went to pick up Birdy straight after work.. Gosh. Hit the wrong expressway and make a big detour. Anyway, i was there early. Waited for nearly an hour before he finally booked out. Luckily Paul was around to wait with me, else i'll be so bored! haha. And Paul made use of the waiting time to drive a few rounds on that manual car. Not that steady yet guessed it was due to the lack of practice. Hmmm.. This young chap really got a lot to go thru at this age.

Back to where i was.. it was drizzling when Birdy finally ran out and so we headed back to Woodlands straight. After dropping off Paul, i suggested going to Chong Pang for their famous Nasi Lemak thou we were just minutes away from home. As it was raining i nearly wanted to change my mind but decided against it as i dont always get to drive so we should just treasure the opportunity and since its a Friday, the more i should bring Birdy for some nice food instead of the usual 630. haha! Initially i thot we should just dabao since it was raining and the place is quite difficult for me to park. But Birdy prefer eating there. Anyway, there were some miscommunications which leads to some unhappiness. After a few rounds, we still couldnt find a good place to park so Birdy suggested going elsewhere. And guessed what? He actually said ADMIRALTY when i asked him where!! i know he said that out of convenience but we purposely came all the way from Woodlands! And now he is asking me to go back to Woodlands for dinner??

Ok, so i granted his wish and headed back to Woodlands with a long and black face! haha. But as i was really sick of eating at 630 or Admiralty, i asked him AGAIN for some other alternatives. Then he suggested Causeway Point but i dont see the point in paying for the parking and enjoying the more expensive food. Then the very SILLY him came out with a superbly brilliant idea - KHATIB - The Bottle Tree~! My blood pressure shot up the moment i heard him said that! i was at Woodlands and we went to Yishun for dinner then u suggested going back to Woodlands and now we're back in Woodlands and u're telling me to go back to Yishun??!! Are u treating me like an idiot?!?! OkoK. i knew that's how he will just blurt out the silliest thing whenever he is lost and dont know what to do! haha. That's how silly my boyfriend is and that's why i love him so. =)

I was super pekchek as we were having our dinner at 630. Really pekchek to the extend i keep grumbling bout not getting to eat the nasi lemak! So not me. hahaha. That night Birdy went clubbing with his camp mates again cos their PC is leaving for Australia to study.. So i waited up for him at home. And that's how that packet of nasi lemak came about~! How sweet of him to ask the taxi uncle to stop at Chong Pang to buy that with my favourite fried fish when he was already half drunk.
