always being mistaken for..

i was just trying to show some concern for a friend. What did i get in return? Being mistaken for. That has always been the case. (and i supposed that's how the bond got even stronger?) Everyone learn from the mistakes they made.. i never seems to. i could jolly well live in my own world and not be bothered by the rest.. Not like i've got not enough problems to worry bout for myself. But that's so not me. And that's the reason why i always ended up hurt.

Were u being too demanding or am i the naive and insensitive one? U could just tell me that u didnt want to talk bout it, but u didnt and yet u expect me to shut it up. When i thot i was being encouraging, yet all i've said, to u, meant nothing but rubbish. And my good intention is being rejected. Then out of nowhere, came the bomb which jolted me awake.

U knew that i was never good with words. But did u see that i've given u my best already? it's ok if u didnt but it'll be really appreciative if u could see from my point of view and trust me that i wasnt trying to rub into ur wounds. Presumably, it's the wrong timing again. But i hope that's what others would also have gotten from u if it wasnt me. i hope i havent been taken for granted. i remember u once said this..
"do u ever know that, ur actions are always sweeter than ur words..?"
Then, i understooded. Now, i got a better picture.

======================================================

i urged u to go ahead and do ur best for the thing u wanted to give up. U retaliated with,
"u think easy?"
Of cos i know it's not! If it is, i would be there achieving mine already!

======================================================

i told u it wont hurt to try. U retaliated with,
"so u think when u tried and failed, it doesnt hurt?"
That's not my point! Disappointment, sure there will be. But i just didnt want u to live with regrets at the end of the day!

======================================================

i asked u to obtain it and do ur family proud. i'll be proud of u too! U retaliated with,
"so u think i dont wanna do my family proud?"
i'll never mean that! i just wanted to boost ur morale and let u know that u aint any mediocre people. But i later realised, at that point of time, u felt pressured instead.

======================================================

When u finally said u didnt want to think so much, i concluded that i should have leave u alone.
But do u know what it takes to feel like JUNK? That's when u said, "u're finally making sense.."

======================================================

p/s: i love u.

I LOVE BANGKOK!!!

ok, im here to blog bout my BKK trip. Like so finally huh? haha. =)

2 May.. A Super Hectic Day!
i started packing my luggage for the trip at around 2300hrs after i came back from the money changer. hahaha. Haojie and Min agreed that's SOoOoo-MeEEe to do my stuffs at the very last minute. Anyway, i wasnt feeling very excited when i was preparing to sleep and in fact i fell asleep straight after my head hit the pillow! Guess i was pretty worn out after driving for more than 100km in a day, from Woodlands -- Changi -- Jurong -- CCK -- Sungei Gedong -- Bukit Batok -- Woodlands. ok, lets drop the details here. haha.

3 May.. Bangkok, here we come~!
Less than 3hrs later, the Birdog were on their way to the airport in bro's car! *shagged*

=Birdog at the Budget Terminal=

Budget Terminal is really sOooOoO budget. Shops like HangTen, MiniToons and 7-Eleven are what we get in the transit area! That's not the point anyway cos we aint doing any shopping there. Requested from Mr Bok to help download a few movies into JJ's PSP so that we could watch it during the plane ride. But who knows we actually sleep thruout the ride? haha. Touched down at Suvarnabhumi Airport and we went searching for the Forever Meeting Point! One hour later, Eastin Bangkok Hotel finally emerged in front of us~!

Without further delay, we left our luggage at the concierge and headed straight to hunt for lunch! As the Birdog were totally clueless of where to go, we walked aimlessly and found Indra Square. Thus, we settled down for lunch at the foodcourt and then planned our itinerary for that day! Food there are quite good and super cheap but in a rather small portion.

Next, we went searching for Platinum Fashion Mall. Its bout less than 15mins walk from our hotel which i would consider quite near. haha. Combed thru the 4th and 3rd level, bought myself four T-shirts, and my poor legs are aching already! haha. The mall is really BIG! Decided to save the rest for the next day when Baby and Min arrived. On the way back to check in our hotel, Birdy bought four singlets along Pratunum Market! And because of SINGLETS, we had a bit of disagreements which causes me to "dont feel like talking". haha. i admit i can be quite unreasonable when im with him. =x But after awhile, everything were fine. And so we concluded, it's all the weather's fault as one minute it was raining and the next it was super hot, which causes both of us to become rather short tempered and easily irritable! hahaha.

=Birdog's first Tuk-Tuk experience=

=Nam Sing very well known, super delicious plus damn cheap Birdnest and Sharkfins=

Indeed, only their Birdnest and Sharkfins are edible! The rest of their food were quite disappointing to me and it's freaking ex! Shopped for ahwile around MBK and realised there's nothing much and it reminds me of Malaysia's Holiday Plaza! haha! Birdy got himself a pair of Nike slipper which i reckoned that was his greatest achievement thruout the trip! hahaha. Oh and did i mention? i actually witnessed a thief trying to open up the zip of a woman's bag who was walking down the stairs with her son in her hands. i was totally stunned and thank god there was a security guard right in front and the guy immediately stopped his act! He wasnt alone as i saw another guy acting secretly and sticking to him like he was trying to block other's view from the back. *yucks* that scares me a lil.

Birdog decided to stroll back to the hotel so that we can have a view of the night streets. Along the way, we shopped a bit at Siam Square and we went to Central World Plaza to recce. All thanks to the amount of homework i'd done back at home, that leads to us finding our way easily. The night ended at the 7-Eleven just 3mins away from our hotel.

=Birdog's room -- 1506=

4 May.. Arrival of the Fantastic Four~!
After they rested for awhile, we dashed straight to the Platinum Mall! Baby gets all excited once she entered the mall! hahaha. We managed to tame her down and went to the foodcourt as all four of them were so hungry.

=SSS feeling all excited outside Platinum Mall=

First stop, the Stationery shop! OMG. i was totally mesmerized by all the cutesy stuffs they were selling! i got so carried away that i think i spent bout 45mins there! haha. Then the ladies started their shopping spree while the pitiful but smart boyfriends had to find a place to sit down and CHILL! hahaha! Three hours later, we covered bout 85% of the mall and decided it's time to go back to the guys. haha. When we found them, they were holding onto a T-shirt each, for their lovely girlfriends! Gosh. i felt so super guilty for that! haha. i really intended to get something for Birdy but anyone who have been to Platinum Mall would understand why. Right girls?

Seeing how comfortable Birdy was in his singlet, Bob and Haojie decided to get some too!

=on the way back with all the Gaosai and Seaweeds=

=Baby was so disappointed with her lil accomplishment=

Back to hotel to put our stuffs and then to our next destination..

=dinner at Yum Saap, Central World Plaza!=

=Birdog outside CWP=

=Tom Yum Soup -- definite MUST try!=

After dinner, the guys went to get their Tricouple Rip Curl slippers which Birdog have seen on Day One. Then, we chionged to Naraya! The pouches and bags are so girly and pretty! Ohmy.. Bought one lil pouch each for Birdog's mothers, grandmothers and sis-in-laws. And one for Baby's mum too! (FYI, im a hard core Auntie-Killer~! Both Aide and Baby's mum loves me~!!) hahaha! Really regretted for not getting more for myself cos i caught my mind thinking of the bag which i bought for my Biaojie and not for myself! Boo! Imagine out of 500baht, only 55 is for myself (not including the pouch Baby and i bought and exchanged as present for each other..)! The rest were all gifts! ArgH. okok, nvm. But i swear i'll be back for more!!

By then, everyone's legs were crying for help so we agreed to end the night and cab back to the hotel.

5 May.. Triple Trouble!!!
Its the last shopping day for the Birdog so we decided to do something that we'll NEVER do in Singapore! Hahaha.

=SSS wearing the SAME T-shirt that our DarlinG had gotten for us=

the Shortest to the Tallest couple? NoNo. It's the exact opposite!

=Eastin Bangkok Hotel=

Whoever have been to shopping in Bangkok will say that Chatuchak is somewhere u should never miss out! And of cos it's inside our itinerary~!! However, due to our inexperience, we only managed to squeeze thru 25% of the whole market? The place is huge, no doubt! And it happened to be the hottest day as compared to the past two days when Birdog were there, so we chose to give up and moved on to our next destination. haha. What a shame! But it's ok, let me repeat myself. i'll be back!

=Chatuchak Weekend Market=

After a refreshing shower, we cab to Siam Square for a break at A&W! On the way, i took all these..

=Colourful Taxis!!=

=Birdog loves A&W=

The ice cream waffles are fabulous! **Thumbs UP!**

i would say, even the chicken are better than what u can find in KFC~! *drooling*

Next stop, Siam Paragon! Its so "Takashimaya" to me..

Like what people always say, "Do not offend a woman." Of cos the guys were made to wear the exact same singlet like what they made us do! hahahahaha!

That's how Coupily we are~! With the same shirt and slippers!

The Pro-iest to the Lous-iest self-shot. Only the Pro-iest can see "Siam Paragon" behind! LOL.

Went there to get our "Inner Beauty" and yet in the end, i was the only one shopping for it while the rest left the Birdog for MBK. haha. Met up with them after Mission Completed, for the long awaited dinner at Zen Japanese Restaurant! Read some ravings from the forum and thot it's definitely better than Fuji Japanese Restaurant! To our HORROR!! It turned out to be the WORSE Japanese food we've ever tasted!! Their salmon and tempura -- my all time favourite -- looks so pale and sick which was a total TURN-OFF. ArgH!! What a waste. But nvm. i'll definitely try Fuji one day!

After the disappointing dinner, we decided to satisfy our stomach by feeding them with Birdnest and Sharkfins! Yeah, again for the Birdog!

*yummy* Birdy cant stop talking bout the Sharkfins! haha.

Finally everyone's mood brightened up after desserts! But happy moments slip by without u even realising it. Its time for the last BIG thing of the trip! Footie Massage~! *SHIOK* My biggest regret is not going for the FULL body massage instead! ArgH! Well, by now, i doubt i need to repeat myself. hahaha!

=while waiting for the masseur=

Look at their funny faces!!

im enjoying myself more than him because...

he became my personal massuer for extra massaging~!! wahahahahaha.

we were definitely the happiest creature on earth after the Happy Foot Massage~!

The last night of the trip ended after a lil chit chat session in the Birdog's room. haha. initially i thot it will be one of the best part of the trip. But i was so wrong! haha. Guess everyone were too worn out after the endless shopping and walking thruout the days..!

6 May.. Home Sweet Home~!
Had our usual breakfast. After much thots, i decided to rush back to CWP Isetan to get more bras~! haha. All thanks to the doting boy who is so willing to do that with me so as not to let me leave Bangkok with more regrets! *muack* I must say the staffs there are very polite with really good service. Anyway, we didnt have much time to waste so we just grabbed, paid and left! haha. Went back to check out the hotel and it was time to bid goodbye..

BUT! Before that, let me do a simple breakdown of how much the Birdog had spent during this trip. And i guess everyone will be surprise... By the meager amount we spent on shopping (less the bras)! =D

Food & Transport : 4300 Baht = S$200
Shopping on ME : 2505 Baht = S$115
Gaosai and Seaweeds : 1760 Baht = S$80
Shopping on HIM : 1615 Baht = S$75
Shopping for others : 1050 Baht = S$50
Footie Massage x 2 : 650 Baht = S$30
Phonecard : 400 Baht = S$20
6 BRAS -- Myself
4 BRAS -- Aunt
2 BRAS -- Mama : 8080 Baht = S$360
DFS : S$320
(Air Tix + Hotel + Insurance) x 2 : S$644 - S$427 = S$217

TOTAL DAMAGE: S$1467

=Always Be With You=

=at the hotel lobby=

chasing some idols??

Oh. i knew they cant bear to part with the Birdog.. But there's always a time we need to say goodbye..

Dont miss us~!!

WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Celebrations~!

Well, this gonna be a super backdated entry (less my Bangkok trip) from 1 May, Labour Day..
Celebrated lil Zanver's 2nd birthday at home with the relatives and all his lil uncles and aunts..

it's Zanver's birthday, not Jayen's!

but Jayen stole all the limelight!

12 May, Mothers' Day celebration at my grandma's place. Had two rounds of buffet from 12 noon all the way to 9 at night!

Happy Mothers' Day 2007

After that i headed home and changed for another round of celebration at Zouk with the Animals! But this time round, its a birthday celebration for the Bear! haha! Birdy's platoon mates were there and they made him drank like nobody business. Panda brought a few of his bunk mates while Koala's BMT buddies were there too! And could you imagine that one of Koala's buddy, Windsor, actually knew four out of ten animals at four different situations! That's how small Singapore can gets! hahaha!

Zouk

the Mr Tall Windsor

To cut everything short, Windsor was first enlisted to serve his National Service and he got to know Koala during his BMT days.. Then he knew the Panda thru both his BMT buddies, Gerard and Koala. After his BMT, he got posted to Navy's Sea Soldier and from there, he met the Bear. After he was downgraded, he was posted to the Naval Personnel Department, and that was where he became friends with yours truly! And to make Singapore appears even smaller, he actually knows all my primary school close friends! OMG!

13 May..

Carnations and a small cake for Birdy's mum..

17 May.. Went to Isetan Private Sales with babY! Was kinda freaked out by the crowd and thou we didnt manage to grab alot, i spent $170 on a top, a skirt and an Agnes B bag. The bag might be simple for the pricey amount i paid, but its on 50% discount already! haha! i love saleS~!! And i always believed in investing on a quality bag which can last me for years! And im sure that the bag will definitely be valued for money! haha. Ok, so now im on a serious shopping ban!

Not to forget, after the mini shopping spree, baby and i went for a drink at McCafe! Had a super chilling session with her and i simply enjoyed it thou thruout the whole session we both were still so ga-ga over Bangkok! hahaha. And of cos we did roughly share a lil of the problems we've faced with our loving but no-so-sensitive boyfriendS. =) im looking forward to more. Perhaps on the next IPS? haha!

it's been a year.. i really wish to know.
你还好吗?
