Hope everyone out there received as many angbaos as possible~! It has been so long since we last had our reunion dinner at home! Yeah. This year, seeing that Dage and family are back from the states, Dad decided to have it at our own home instead of going over to uncle's house, like our usual practice for the passed few years.. And it was the first time ever, we didnt have steamboat for this significant occasion. Instead Mum whipped up a few good dishes and we had our dinner together around the table. Yeah. I supposed as we all grow older, the only thing that we most look forward to during Chinese New Year is none other than the reunion dinner! At least for me thou. Funnily, everything was a little different this year as compared to the past.
Dad has been in such fantastic mood recently and he actually came out with a new way of distributing angbaos! Haha. He decided to pack all angbaos of different value and allow us to hand pick by ourselves! Hahaha. Before our dinner, he even warned us to eat slowly as the dinner is supposed to last for at least an hour! Else, we wont get our angbao! =(
surprisingly, dad included birdy and 513 in the angbaos-draw but too bad both aren't around for the dinner thus we just drew on behalf of them. And guess what?! Birdy's angbao is bigger than mine! Hahaha. Anyway, after dinner we went over to uncle's place to 筹热闹.. Haha.

大年初一
i ended up waking up at the Chicken's house! Haha. Went his place the previous night to play mahjong. Not as lucky as the last time i played on New Year Eve! Haha. Then went home to start preparing for the day.. Nothing much happened except darling ah Fat spoilt my IPOD Shuffle!!! -_-"" First day of new year, u dont expect me to shout at him and i can only cry to myself for the lost photos that im never able to get it back... Anyway the usual routine began by going to both grandma's place and the day ended by meeting up a few animals for another round of mahjong session at the Panda's house! Haha.

if u're wondering what were they doing? Lil Zan was trying to SMACK his bro's ASS!!! hahahaha!Woke up in the late morning and went to birdy's house.. Haha. It was also the first time i walked to somebody's house to bai nian! Haha. And guess what? This time round, i got a bigger angbao from his parents than what he got!! hahah. Headed to his grandma's place in the late noon and the moment we reached, everyone's attention was on us! More than thirty pair of eyes and mouth! I swear i was blushing from ear to ear for the first fifteen minutes after we stepped into the house! Haha. one of his aunt actually fell in love with me and she's so so funny! Hahaha. The family is really close and united, spending the day cooking, singing, looking at photos and chit chatting together.
Hours later, four cars left my void deck, one after another, and headed to Yishun 10 to watch The Protege. The show isn't very nice but all of us simply enjoyed going to movie in a whole group of nineteen people! Haha. Yeah. My aunts, uncles, grandma, cousin, parents, brothers, sis in laws and boyfriend. Still remember last year we watched Fearless! Haha.

wanted to visit nei cos she just had an operation.. Who knows roughly half an hour after we reached Sengkang, her boyfriend msged and told us that she aint feeling well and they are going to the doctor. Thus, we didnt manage to see her. Well, hope she is feeling better now.. Went back to Woodlands after lunch there as birdy's house is having a "mini buffet". Mr William invited his neighbours to their place for some gatherings cos it's the CHINESE new year~! Yeah CNY! But guess what? All their guests are actually MALAYS!! hahaha! Even the food is all Halal cooked by one of the neighbour. hahaha. Now i supposed most of u understand why birdy has the resemblance of a Malay. haha!
The Chicken, Bear and Koala were asked to come up too. Then, they decided to drop by Chicken's house instead of going to town. haha. So, another mahjong session began~!! Hahaha! I must really say, birdy and me are really down on luck this year~! =(
Headed home after that as we planned to go to some KTV Pub with the parents. However, due to some this and that problem, dad called off the outing.
Thus the three siblings decided that we'll head down town to watch Just Follow Law at 0110hr. When we reached there at 0045hr, the tix were selling fast so we bought Norbit instead! And since there was another hour before the show starts, we went to Suki Sushi for some late night supper~! haha.
It was the first time in history i ever went out with just my brothers. I love the feeling~! Thou there wasnt much conversation that involved all of us, it was still GreaT~! And ya, the show is damn funny! hahahahaha!
