It happened. Birdy went on his knee and asked me to marry him and I said, "Oorh."
Everyone asked me, "How do u feel?" and my answer to everyone, "Littat lor.."
Ok, I would be lying if I say I'm not happy. But I wasn't extremely happy either. I would say, the feeling is simply amazing that when u looked down and u suddenly see a diamond ring on ur finger. Ya. That's how I'm feeling. I always tell him, "Marrying U is a sooner or later thingy. The Proposal is just a formality and something U have to go thru.." I believes he felt the same and am glad at least he feels the need to make it official. Haha! What's more when the Birdog's nest will be ready in less than a year's time? I'd made my decision near to 3 years back, isn't it so?
Yup, I have to say this is one of the biggest and most successful surprise he ever managed to sprung on me. Perhaps due to work and being so confident in believing that he'll never propose on my birthday, allowed him to catch me off guard totally, without leaking a single clue. Then again, it wasn't the happiest due to the minor details behind the scene which I really had to admit that were pretty disappointing. No doubt I appreciates the effort he'd put in, I know he could have done better. But of cos I also grew to accept the fact that, this is my imperfect boyfriend, or rather, my fiancé - the man whom I know I can trust my future and want to spend the rest of my life with.. Therefore, I shall let this disappointment be something I'll nag him with till our hair turns grey, and also as a reminder to ensure we plan our wedding day together in my near-to-perfection way.
