Pretty mood~!

Perhaps cos i've spent half the time awake, day-dreaming bout our Virgin Bangkok Trip~! hahaha! Not to mention, i've spent lotsa time recently, with frens, enjoying ourselves to the max! Each time there is a meet up with either the Animals or the Ladies, it simply make my day~! And it sure make the time in office passby faster too! hahaha.

Things that i've done recently..
1) Neway with baby&boby.. Followed by dinner at the HK Cafe.
2) Ladies Night at Pastamania, Plaza Sing. Followed by desserts at Gelare.
3) I went for a jog with my brother around Woodlands Ring Road.
4) Geylang supper with the Animals and 515 chit chat session which lasted till dawn.
5) Sentosa Sun Tan with baby&boby, hj&min.. Watched the Song of the Seas and dinner at Sushi Tei! - the best Japanese food i've tried so far..
6) KBOX with the Animals.
7) A visit to the Cantonment Police Station. And the weirdest thing i've known is that a Civil Servant cannot stand bail for someone.
8) A simple dinner at 630 with my extended family..

hahaha. I've got some seminar to help out at work tml. Gotta reach camp by 0730hrs! And yeah, i guess i gotta wake up at 0500hrs! =( Anyway seeing that both of them editted the photos and put themselves in the center, i shall join in the fun~! Below are some funny discoveries..

To stay in SAF or to Leave?

Retreat @ the Naval Diving Unit situated at Sembawang Camp on 20 Apr. i always thot Retreat only means to withdraw from actions or to draw back. But here in SAF it also means Outing. Funny huh. Anyway, it was a whole department outing lah.

Boss asked hows work so far (this is a Must-Ask-Question for everyone who see a newbie. Thou i've been in there for six months already, considering the number of times we've seen each other, i think my face is still quite new to him bah.) Or perhaps that's how working partners or the superior and workers strike up a conversation. haha. The answers i gave him were quite standard as well, i.e. so far so good, ya still manageable, everything is fine~! haha.

He asked if there's anything i dislike doing or whether i've learnt anything new, thus i told him whatever that came straight to my mind. Alot of things that im doing needs to seek for approval from the higher authorities, and there are not just one but three or four! And we ought to go thru them one by one! Gosh. And being a Captain or Major or Lieutenant Colonel in SAF means either they sit in the office to give commands or they have endless meetings to attend, and yet they are bringing home so much more on the 10th as compared to those who sleep in the field and carry the rifles. That's not the point anyway. The point is, they sometimes take damn long to come out with a decision and thus, the poor admin staffs like us will have to monitor and keep chasing them for an answer. That's just part of my retard work.

As for the learning part, i told him that i've learnt to better manage my time in order to cope with my work. But he'll know that's all CRAPS if we work in the same office! Cos he'll be there to witness me coming in late EVERYDAY! LoL.

He moved on to my future plans. tada! So he was just interested to know if i'll stay with the association or if i already have plans of leaving them any sooner. haha. Frankly speaking, i've got no plans as of what i want to do now, thus i gave him my words that i'll definitely stay till my contract with the Navy expires. But things after that, i really have got no idea cos i've yet to hear any news with regards to my contract extension. And just few days back, i was feeling so sick of the work and i thot i will not want to accept a second contract. Then he told me, "Oh, for the contract, not to worry. We find u a valuable staff and we appreciate ur contributions and we're definitely looking forward to your help for the next few years.." (OK, he didnt exactly put it in that nice way, but he did mention that im a VALUABLE staff!) hahaha!

Whatever it is, i really have no clue now. And at the end of the day, i realised, there's practically NOTHING i can learn from working in the SAF. Perhaps it goes the same for all admin staffs including those in the private sector.

Could someone pls bring me to see the light?

爱心枕头

the bird is such a sweetie~! last thursday he told me he was so freaking bored at home and wanted to go causeway point to walk walk. thus, he asked me to meet him there after work. when i saw him, he was actually holding this.....



a pooh bear cushion! and that's for me to use in the office cos of my back problem! hahaha. there's a story behind this. but then again, he's still very sweet. =) and to think back, i feel like a lousy girlfriend! cos he's always sweeter than i am! one of the biggest surprise he'd given me so far was..

one fine tuesday evening, 28 Nov 2006, he smsed me at around 1700hrs, the time i knock off from work. very normal chit chat, telling me he misses me, and asking hows work and whether i've leave office etc. haha. we msged all the way as i was on the shuttle bus to Tanah Merah MRT.. still remember, that day the bus uncle actually took the wrong route to the MRT station! haha. i told him bout it and was also telling him that im very hungry. then he told me he was hungry too but still cant eat. as it was a weekday and assuming that he was in camp, i asked him what were they doing and why cant they have dinner yet? (cos the timing of the meals provided in camp are pretty fixed.) just before i received his reply, i alighted the bus and was talking to one of the NSF, and i suddenly saw a VERY familiar face sitting by the stairs, smoking and smiling at me! i stood rooted and my mind went blank for a freaking 3 seconds then i finally managed to open my mouth and told the NSF, "eh, u go first, my Boyfriend is there." OMG! i swear i was really SHOCKED to see him sitting there and i was really very happy and surprised.

boy, i'll promise to work harder to make everything work better for US. =) i love u.

HappY GooD FridaY~!!!

A public holiday falls on a friday = a long weekend~! that's definitely the happiest thing for people like me who work from Monday to Friday. haha. but then, im so bored! Birdy is enjoying himself at Zouk with the Chicken, Hyna and Koala! haha. i cant wait for next week cos its gonna be our monthly animals outing! and its pay day as well! hahaha. i love animals! =)

Val was puzzled why her boyfriend, Paulson is an insect, Cockroach, instead of an animal. hahaha! well, before i explain why, maybe i should start off with how We Are Animals came about. haha. i supposed, Pig was the first animal to be discovered, all thanks to Feipo. and guessed anyone will link Fat to Pig. hahahaha. and the person who started Feipo of cos is our bossJJ, who forever have the Not-Enough-Sleep-And-Puffy-Eyes-Look. thus, he became the Panda. Bear, Hyena and Chicken came from the derivation of their names. Huixiong A.K.A Xiong which means Bear, is rather straight forward. Kenghian A.K.A Hian, always have people typing his name as Hina became Hyena cos of the similar pronounciation. Derick A.K.A Rick, who always add two letters to his name in MIRC or MSN, turns out to be Dericken, became the Chicken. hahaha. as for Cheetiong A.K.A Tiong, why is he a Bird? it was also because of his usual MIRC nickname which he took after the NIKE logo. hahaha. okok, not forgetting the always being forgotten Yongteng A.K.A BakTeng, he is the Koala cos they say he sleeps like one! hahaha. Siting, our "air-stewardess", is a Cow! i seriously got no idea why she was given that title lah. if she really is one, then i must say she is the skinniEST Cow u can ever find and also the laziEST one. LOL. whatever~! as for myself, im the Dog. reason being? 猪朋狗友! we have a Pig, of cos we need a Dog to complete the idiom. haha. well well, after so much, the mystery has yet to be solved. lets take a look at the photo below and perhaps that might give u some clue!

LOL!! Val, doesnt that resembles a dead Cockroach lying on the ground? that's how Paulson was given that title! and this photo was actually taken in 2003! hahahahaha. funnily, all these make up The Animals family. =)

speaking of Paul, i must really say he's a Mr Nice Guy. during my "bedridden" days, after hearing from Val how bad my condition was, he actually suggested to come and VISIT ME!! omg. even after i told them i was feeling so much better that night, he insisted on coming up to take a look and they really did! haha. not even any of my girlfriends did that man! i was really touched by him. (yes girls, I AM COMPLAINING!) hahaha. anyway, i've not forgotten anyone who showed their concern too. so, THANKS everyone!
