2007 first entry

it was last year when i last blogged.. so long to the extend i've forgotten how to and where to start off.. hahaha! ok, not that long either. in fact its just less than two months. but still, its the first entry for the new year! haha.

time flies.. im 22 this year.. what have i achieved for the past one year? nothing. that's pathetic. well, lets sum up what i can recall for the whole of 2006..

busy preparing for our Final Year Project? cant really remember.. haha. my only Biaojie got engaged, remembering how she always say she wont get married and wants to be a nun, when we were young.. AwWwwW. i miss those days! haha. next thing i realised, im out of school! gosh. we were still telling each other to stop reading "Seventeen" during our first year in poly.. haha. then, Dage returned from the States with Dasao and the two lil boys after two years..

anyway, when you stepped out from school, people say, 毕业等于失业 (graduate = jobless) and that applies to me exactly! hahaha! of cos that's also when you start missing the lectures and tutorials.. especially in the morning when you'll send or receive messages like, "i'll be late, dun wait for me.." or "today lecture what room ar?" hahahaha! was jobless and slacking around enjoying myself fully for four whole months! yeah. my life changed drastically during that period of time..

the other part of me became a stranger after a casual afternoon.. i cried for days consecutively, the worst i can remember of.

we spent nights watching movie at The Cathay and eating supper at Geylang. i wasnt lonely all thanks to friends around me..

we were practically crazy, going to malaysia as and when we wanted on the bike.. i gotten over him, thou not completely.

a friend became a soulmate.. i broke my toe (nails, thats what i meant.)

we watched each other graduated.. i baked my first orrh-orrh cheesecake for a friend of eight years.

we worked together at the Mastercard roadshow.. i went on the first overseas trip (thou its just Genting) with my dearest friends.

the official graduation ceremony came and i guessed that's when i realised im really walking into a different phase of life. thinking back, despite the fact that i'd neglected the ladies, our friendship remains just like how we stick on to our monthly meetups. then, the boyfriend got enlisted to serve his ass off for the country and finally i ended my parasitic life. (thou i wasnt exactly one, staying at home for too long a time definitely make you feel like you are one!)

...those were the days...

life became normal.. not as happening as the first half of the year. i started working at O2 Service Center and met a very nice boss. i spent my weekends over at the boyfriend's place and the family get so used to seeing me. haha. the boyfriend POP and the chalet with the ladies came again. it was indeed a very different one as compared to the previous one which included a special guest.. i left O2 Service Center, slacked for three weeks and joined the SAF.

life then turned monotonous.. waking up at 0530hrs, working till around 1800hrs, head back home, bath, eat and sleep. the procedures continue every other day till the last working day of the week and as usual staying over at the boyfriend's on the weekends. everything just became a routine even when it comes to birthday celebrations! haha. friends all turned 21 and all kinds of parties i went for EIGHT consecutive weekends! from chalets / bbq to house parties to ktv / club / pubs and even McDonalds!! hahaha. nevertheless, im enjoying the simple life.

my big party was GreaT~! i enjoyed all the attention, the thoughts, the presents and most importantly, the companion. however, good thing never last (that goes the same for the bad..) and im glad 2006 is over. haha. not being a pessimist, im hoping for more in the new year.. irregardless of what it is, im expecting more challenges and the parts and parcels of life that we're bound to go thru. oh, and did i mention? birdy sold his bike thou i really think its a waste. anyway, we're pinning hope on getting our first car together! not easy. hahaha! what he wanted is just a Swift and all along i wanted a Jazz. well well..

alright! before a year ends, people will start planning for the next and come up with some kind of impossible-to-fulfil resolutions. i only have three and here it goes~!

1. i want to spend more time with my family and people who are dear to me.
2. i want to see a clearer picture of my future {and that includes birdy =)}.
3. i want to start saving!! {not that difficult i supposed? =X}
